THE PHOENIX FOUNDATION RETURN WITH A NEW ONE OFF LONDON DATE AND SINGLE ‘BRIGHT GREY’

It’s been quite the year for New Zealand’s The Phoenix Foundation, with their album Buffalo staggering under the weight of acclaim, their shows selling out up and down the country, not to mention them popping their Glastonbury cherry in high style.

And we’re delighted to announce that they will be returning to these shores to play a special one off headline show at London’s date The Garage on 27 October having commenced work on their next album in Wellington album amidst Rugby World Cup fever.

They’re bringing with them a delightful gift in the form of the wonderful new single Bright Grey which also features on the deluxe digital version of Buffalo. A swooping, tumbling delight, Bright Grey exemplifies The Phoenix Foundation’s uncanny ability to ally psychedelic flourishes with a brilliant harmonic and melodic pop nous. The single comes with a Delorean car featuring video by Oscar nominated Kiwi director Taiki Waititi.
