Kendal Calling is an award-winning, innovative, independent festival based in the Lake District. It features pioneering contemporary music and art alongside traditional rural entertainment. We have a small capacity so you wont be herded around like cattle or spend hours in queues at the bar. Feel the freedom of being able to move between the 8 performance stages in a matter of minutes and never miss an artist.

First crop of acts

Friday night will see Tyneside heroes MAXIMO PARK erupting the stage, Saturday we have the return of the legendary DIZZEE RASCAL and Sunday will be see an awesome sing-along to a classically written back catalogue of songs by JAMES.

But that's just the headliners… anyone who has visited Kendal Calling before knows this is a festival that is overflowing with great entertainment from start to finish.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult 25 or over.
Thursday Entry: The campsite will be open a day early for all you keen festival goers to get in a day early! Children aged 10 or younger come in free but must be in possession of a free 'Thursday Entry Child 10 and Under' ticket. Age restriction for patrons under the age of 15 applies
