HMV Forum

The HMV Forum was built in 1934 and was originally an art deco cinema. After the closure of the cinema The Town & Country Club was established as a new music venue and was returned to its original name The Forum in 1993. Since its purchase in 2007 the venue has undergone a major refurbishment which includes the option for seated shows. A favourite medium scale venue on the London circuit and situated on the edge of Camden, everyone from Prince to The Killers, Morrissey to Jay-Z has played at the venue.

Accessibility

  • The HMV Forum takes the needs of disabled customers very seriously and actively encourages people of all abilities to attend the events scheduled at the venue.

    Wheelchairs
Although it was built in the 1930’s, the building has been modernised to allow wheelchair access via front of house to the Disabled Platform in the downstairs standing area (please note there is no direct backstage disabled access).

Due to Licensing and Health & Safety Assessments, we regret the number of wheelchairs that we can admit to the building is limited. In order to ensure that all disabled patrons to the HMV Forum are adequately catered for, we request that all disabled customers contact the venue directly on info@kentishtownforum.com before the gig so necessary arrangements can be made.

    Assistance
On the evening of the event, we advise disabled customers to arrive at the venue 15 minutes prior to the doors opening, ideally accompanied by a companion over 18 years of age who will be admitted free of charge. The free companion ticket is available to customers that are registered disabled. The paid-for ticket needs to be booked in advance.
